Are whole-home ventilation and heat recovery different systems?+
They describe different aspects of the same installation. A ducted Lossnay system can ventilate your whole home, while its heat exchanger recovers energy from outgoing air. You do not need to choose between those two labels.
Does Lossnay heat or cool the house?+
Lossnay provides fresh-air ventilation and recovers energy; it is not a replacement for active heating or cooling. A heat pump controls temperature, while Lossnay renews the air.
Can it work alongside a ducted heat pump?+
Yes. Lossnay can be designed alongside compatible Mitsubishi Electric ducted heat pumps. We assess equipment and control compatibility before recommending an integrated setup.
Can you install it in an existing home?+
Often, subject to suitable space, access and duct routes. We assess the property before confirming the installation approach.
What maintenance does it need?+
Filters and the heat-exchange unit need care in line with the selected model’s instructions. We explain the maintenance schedule and allow access as part of the installation design.
